On 4 April our research report into the effectiveness of the Rooted in Reading passport project in developing reading for pleasure was launched at the World Literary Summit in Oxford. The report can be downloaded from here. As you will see if you read the report, both teachers and learners are very positive about the impact that the passports have had on the amount of reading they do, their enjoyment of reading and their reading skills. The passports are available at very low cost to all schools via the National Association for the Teaching of English, so why not visit their website and have a look at them in their virtual bookshop at http://www.nate.org.uk To find out more send me a direct twitter message @stevewillshaw.
